Everything I've experienced in my life has led to me to create this course.

From a 16 year struggle with with Binge Eating Disorder and Bulimia, to finding and mastering Intuitive Eating, to falling into self-development, mindset, and manifestation- all the pieces came together.

Because it wasn't a diet, or an exercise routine, or any of your typical weight loss techniques that brought me here. In fact, it was the opposite! I'm going completely against the grain to bring you this program that I am so so proud of.

You have to change your beliefs and identity to see lasting results. I know that I was led to discover this through my journey over the years. If I hadn't gone through the pain of binge eating and feeling completely out of control- I never would have been unable to understand how my clients felt. I never would have been able to understand the magic behind this program because it seemed to good to be true

But I've been in your shoes. I've felt utterly at war with my body and like NOTHING would work for me. I've binged, I've purged I've over-exercised with zero results. I've been on both sides of the spectrum.

I never would have believed this method if I hadn't discovered it and fine-tuned it myself! I am still in disbelief that I get to live in my healthiest and happiest body while living the exact lifestyle I want (one that includes lots of wine + chocolate).

I started following Tara on Facebook and instagram a few months ago.  My daughter had taken her Manifest Mondays course and recently signed up for the Manifesting Your Dream Body course.  I was intrigued by the courses, yet felt hesitant to try them for a few reasons. The first reason was fear. I was most afraid to face up to issues in my life that had caused me to always struggle with my weight.  I knew deep down inside that Tara would help me get to the root cause and that terrified me. The second reason that I hesitated was, I couldn’t see how just visualizing something and changing your thoughts could affect your weight and how you lived your life.

I took a leap of faith and decided to go for it  and began the course on June 1st.  The first week seemed pretty easy  and I smugly thought to myself, “this is going to be so easy.”

That changed pretty quickly as we dug deeper into the course.  I had never meditated or participated in hypnosis prior to this course.  I thought it was a load of crap. I quickly learned that the mediations and hypnosis were very powerful tools in this course.  I now have the ability to shift very easily into a meditative or hypnotic state when I listen to Tara’s mediations. I listen to them every day and truly feel them.  I can’t imagine my day without it.

I had a very difficult time believing that all foods were equal.  I have spent years limiting what I eat and always being so careful, but could never lose the 20 pounds that I so desperately wanted to lose.  I told myself that I would feel happy if I just lost the weight. I trusted Tara and took the plunge and ate what I craved and learned to eat only when hungry.  Guess what? It didn’t make me gain weight. I have now embraced that philosophy and the freedom that I have with food is incredible.  

You will experience many highs and lows as you go through journey.  The weekly coaching calls were a life saver. Tara helped me face the most difficult period in my life and I have been able to release that burden from my life.  She is always there to help you and guide you. She checks in on you on a regular basis. You can text or email her anytime with questions or if you are having a bad day.  

I have completed the 8 week program, but it is far from over.  This is something that I will continue to use and practice for the rest of my life.  Tara has taught me how to become grateful for my life and for my body. I have not lost all the weight yet, but that will come as I continue down this path.  I now attend her bootcamp classes every week and love them. Tara is so patient and will adapt exercises for you as needed. Bootcamp used to be so far out of my comfort zone and I never would have attempted a class before I took the course.

Before I started the course I was exercising daily doing 8km speed walks/runs, bootcamps, aerobic classes. If I missed a workout, I would beat myself up inside. I was already introduced to Intuitive Eating but wasn't fully following the principles and still feeling a load of guilt around my food choices and eating way past fullness.

Now with all the information, meditations, and tools I've learned from the course I eat what I want and when I want to, and I exercise when I feel called to do so. It can look like a daily easy walk while listening to an audiobook, or a short jog here and there. But there is no guilt if I miss a workout and my current workouts are peaceful and fulfilling. 

I'm fully embracing the Intuitive Eating lifestyle and  I welcome all foods into my daily life, which is so much easier than the restrictions I was placing on myself!

In short, Tara has done a great job at setting up this course with easy to use videos, great meditations, and weekly coaching calls. I would absolutely recommend it to... well everyone!

And I lost 15lbs and counting ;)

I just finished the self love section for week 6! Burn the Bullshit Stories! 
What a powerful exercise!!! I encourage those who have not done it yet to do this... It was quick and really refreshing.

I have been having a hard time figuring out if I am surrendering or truly allowing myself to step into this "dream " version of myself. This exercise released a lot of heavy negative feelings and I feel so much lighter and free right now. I feel ready to let go, trust and step into the version of myself that I have always dreamed of.

At the beginning of this course, it was about losing weight. Today, it is about loving and accepting myself in any shape or form, something I never thought possible.

What is my commitment?

 

-MDB is an online course, and you have lifetime access so you can take as long as you like to get through it.

-There is 1 hour long video lesson a week, and I would recommend setting aside 10-20 minutes most days for guided meditations, and going through the workbook for best results.
