THE MANIFESTATION ROAD TRIP

I'm bringing back another car analogy in order to help you with your manifestations. 

This one involves two parts- which car you are getting in, and where you are going on a road trip, whilst using your GPS system. 

This is going to help you a TON in recognizing where you may be shooting yourself in the foot in your manifestations and goals- and taking stock too soon which stops you in your tracks.

The Car:  The story you are telling, how you feel, and your perceptions
The GPS: Following the nudges and intuitive action steps
Road Trip: The unfolding of your manifestation
The Destination: The Manifestation

So, before any road trip- we typically have a destination in mind. If we don't, we will most likely end up driving around in circles and never really getting anywhere. Which is what happens when we don't have clarity on our intentions and where are going. For this example, I'm going to refer to Dream Body because I think it's the most popular one my clients struggle with in terms of the road trip ie: the unfolding of the manifestation. 

So, you've chosen your destination- you know what you dream body feels like & looks like. It's time to begin the road trip.

Next up, we want to get into a car. In this analogy- we have hundreds of cars to choose from- but some of them are broken down and falling apart, and some of them are smooth, fast, and feel GREAT to drive. Here's the key- the car that feels GREAT to drive is the one that also feels great in your body- you are in a fast moving car when you are focussing on what is working, what progress you've made, the little wins, and simply keeping your attention focussed on the good. I want you to become a negative thought Nazi during this road trip- because any time you are spiralling into negative thinking is the moment you got out of your nice, fast car- and hopped into a broken down one that is getting you nowhere fast (and perhaps runs backwards lol).

So choosing a fast moving car- comes from fine tuning our minds. In terms of dream body- what is the perception you can choose that feels good?
For example:
I hate my body and this feels impossible = broken down car
I'm learning to accept my body and excited to feel even better = fast moving car

I binge ate again and I feel like such a failure = broken down car
I'm aware about why that happened and I feel better equipped to handle it next time = fast moving car
I actually ate a tiny bit less than I normally would during a binge = fast moving car
I am binging far less than I usually do = fast moving car
I'm making so much progress with allowing all foods = fast moving car
I'm feeling more positive around food and honouring my fullness more often = fast moving car

See where I'm going with this? At any point during our road trip we also have the choice of what car we are getting into. And it's up to us to maintain our awareness and come back to fast moving car. THAT is the work. THAT is the manifestation process. You can do this by creating a mantra that interrupts negative thinking, by writing down 3-5 good things each day that ARE working (check out Mind Magic here for Lauren and I's community that teaches you all about this and gives you the framework to follow through) or visualizing, journaling, scripting- whatever feels best to YOU. 

Next up- we have our GPS system. This GPS is internal and it's based off of how you FEEL. Moment to moment, how do you know if you are on track for your manifestations with the actions you are taking? You feel good about what you are doing. Your GPS is always showing you when you are on or off track based off how you feel. 

So, in order to get on the right track we've got to listen to how we feel, and we've got to check in with your GPS system and fine tune accordingly- by following the next better feeling thing,

Check in with your GPS multiple times a day before you take action in terms of your goals. What's the first emotion you feel? If it feels good, GREAT- keep on cruising in that fast moving car. 

If it doesn't feel good- pull over and reset the GPS. 

Here's an example of that:
You are reaching for a pint of ice-cream and watching Netflix. Does this action step feel really good? Sometimes it will! Sometimes that is JUST what we need. It feels juicy and delicious and lovely to get all cosy in bed with our favourite snacks and eat something we love. 

But other times it doesn't feel good. We know we are ignoring something, we feel guilty and icky, we are procrastinating or avoiding- and with every bite we take, we are feeling worse and worse.

You need to get in touch with how your action steps FEEL- because they are always guiding you on the fastest route to your manifestations. 

The easiest way to do this, is moment to moment - what do I desire to do in this moment that will feel really good?

In a different example- it's a beautiful sunny day outside and I'm inside my office working away. You might think that the next thing I would desire to do would be to go outside, read a book in the sunshine, etc. But I know that that isn't going to feel good when I still have work hanging over my head and it's coming from a place of avoidance. 

However, once I finish this blog post and the other thing on my to do list today- I'm sure that WILL feel really lovely and relaxing. 

Listening to your GPS takes practice. It takes tuning into your body and asking what GENUINELY feels good, not just what we think should feel good. When you can truly tap into this, you will be on a fast track to your desires, because your GPS is your intuition and it's always guiding you to be in the perfect place, in the perfect time in order to watch your manifestations unfold.

Let's get back to the road trip. There's always an unfolding of our manifestations ie: the road trip. And this is where we can really throw ourselves off. Imagine if, on a road trip- you got out of your car, looked around and you weren't anywhere near your final destination. Would you make that mean you are never going to get there, you are doing it wrong, and you might as well give up and go back home? NO! You know that you are on the right path and headed there, and you trust in the unfolding of the road trip.

Unfortunately we do this with our manifestations far too often. We are humming along on the journey, and then we take stock far too soon. We step on the scale- and it isn't where we thought we "should" be - and then all of a sudden we start looking around and finding more evidence around how it's not working, and I'm not there yet- so I must be doing something wrong. We turn ourselves back around and think we have to start the journey all over again.

You aren't doing anything wrong aside from forgetting that it's a journey- and that the places you see along the way are not your final destination- therefore they aren't going to appear as it. 

You have GOT TO TRUST THE UNFOLDING. If you are in a fast moving car, and checking your GPS every so often YOU ARE ON THE PERFECT PATH AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE. 

Manifestation is you vs. you- no one else knows how you feel, and what feels good to you. 

There are so many times when I could have listened to other people on my journey and let them dictate my steps even though my internal GPS was screaming "NO!". 

"There is no such thing as a fairytale romance Tara, you need to just stick with what you've got"
"You think you can just eat whatever you want and lose weight? That's ridiculous, try this diet"

My life is a result of setting my destination and following my GPS while continuously choosing a fast moving car. The fairytale romance, and the dream body all came true because I didn't take stock too soon and start making myself wrong or bad because I wasn't there yet. There was an unfolding that I had to trust in, to get to my final destination.

Right before I met Trev, I was ghosted on dates THREE TMES. I'd go out with someone, have a great time- and poof- never hear from them again. If I had gotten out of my car and looked around, I had a lot of evidence for "This is NOT working and you are crazy".

When I first began intuitive eating- I gained weight and was up at my highest weight ever. If I had gotten out of my car and looked around- I would have most definitely not kept going. 

But we need to learn to trust ourselves, our bodies, and our own GPS system- because that is the only way forward to the life of our dreams.

So- in summary;

1.) Set your destination, and get clear.
2.) Get into a fast moving car by always noticing what's working, the wins, the celebrations, any and all of the good moments, and new perceptions of what's happening that feel good.
3.) Listen to your GPS through following your genuine desires and checking in with how whatever you are doing feels- if it doesn't feel good- move onto the next better feeling action, whatever that is.
4.) The road trip is a journey. Don't get out in Alberta and look at the mountains and think "What the fuck? My goal is OCEAN, I'm clearly on the wrong path" If you just keep driving West, you will see those beaches and hit the ocean- but it takes faith in yourself and faith in the unfolding.
